Santa's Workshop

Image
This week we are exploring the Santa's workshop theme in Aistear and are having lots of fun at the different stations: sand, role play, art and construction. The children came up with great Christmas stories at the sand station and they made very colourful stockings at the art station. They also created a very cool Christmas sleigh for Santa at the construction station and worked very hard in the post office.

This week the whole school having been taking part in our Green Team Action Day. This involves using recycled materials and working collaboratively to make a wind powered vehicle. It was lots of fun and we are thankful to some helpers from Ms. Mitchell's classroom who helped us make our vehicles. We then had a race and we have two finalists ready to compete in the whole school race on Friday.
