Ms. Dervan's 4th & 5th class

We were so lucky to have a visit from the Coast Guard last Friday. The whole school came out to welcome them to Ardrahan and it was such a thrill to see a helicopter land on the pitch. We all listened to a talk on water safety and the children asked great questions. They were also lucky enough to get to walk through the helicopter. What fun!

Junior and Senior Infants had lots of fun today as we took Aistear outside in the sunshine. The Junior Infants enjoyed playing with the Senior Infants and exploring the different activities. They really enjoyed the sensory play (water and sand) as well as construction activities. It was great fun!!!             

Junior and Senior Infants had such a blast on their school tour to Turoe Pet Farm. They loved all the different play areas. There were some lovely playgrounds to enjoy and a pitch to play soccer. They loved walking around the pet farm to see all the lovely animals and even fed lots of the animals too! The giant bouncing castle was a big hit. It was such a nice day and a lovely school tour for all.
