Ms. Dervan's 4th & 5th class

 We have been working on projects over the last few weeks. In pairs, the children were researching a country that is taking part in the Women's Rugby World Cup. They researched their countries women's rugby team along with lots of fun facts and information on traditions, food, culture, landmarks and. weather. We had great fun presenting the projects this week, with children dressing up in their countries colours and baking some food from their country to share around. Below are just a few facts from the projects. We look forward to the next project!                             

We're settling into the new school year and into our new classes! Everyone is working hard, getting used to new routines, and learning lots. We've dome some art activities that let us be creative and brighten up our classroom. We did some dot art for International dot day and it was very cool to see our dots in 3D using the ipads and an augmented reality website. We did minecraft selfie art which was lots of fun and drew autumn scenes using leaf templates. This is a very artistic and creative class. It's been a great start to the year!
