Ms. Dervan's 4th & 5th class

 The children loved making Valentine's cards. We painted them using pink and red paint. Then the children cut them out and wrote messages. It was lots of fun!

 We really loved celebrating Grandparents Day this year. Junior Infants were so excited to perform their songs and poems for their grandparents and loved having visitors to our classroom. They loved drawing pictures of their grandparents and creating a whole class display with lots of pictures of our Grandparents. It was so lovely to meet the grandparents and it was a great day!

 We are learning about the doctor in Aistear. Junior Infants loved exploring the role play station and looking after the dolls and teddies. They have built great things at the construction station such as ambulances and x-ray machines. They have also made great ambulances at the junk art station and have had lots of fun playing at the water and with the playdough. The children made their own doctor bags during Art and were thrilled to display them outside the classroom. 

 We have been working on our cutting in Junior Infants. Juniors worked very hard, coloured in their boats and did super cutting. They loved seeing their boats on display outside the classroom.
