Ms. Dervan's 4th & 5th class

This week, as part of the reading challenge initiative, we did some buddy reading with Senior Infants. 4th and 5th class really enjoyed it and were so impressed by all the amazing readers in Ms. Rafter's class. 

 For the last few weeks we have been learning about the Titanic. The children worked on projects exploring this topic in greater detail and found out some very interesting facts. They presented them to the class this week and the presentations were very engaging. I really commend them for working on their presentation skills. They included lots of interesting facts, images and were knowledgeable about the content. Lots of children included quizzes to see who was listening. They did a super job! Well done!
