Junior Infants are busy this week with more fine motor stations. They had great fun practicing their cutting and threading. They are really enjoying the Playdough / Spaghetti station.
We have been working on projects over the last few weeks. In pairs, the children were researching a country that is taking part in the Women's Rugby World Cup. They researched their countries women's rugby team along with lots of fun facts and information on traditions, food, culture, landmarks and. weather. We had great fun presenting the projects this week, with children dressing up in their countries colours and baking some food from their country to share around. Below are just a few facts from the projects. We look forward to the next project!
We have had a very busy Maths week in 4th and 5th class. We did a maths quiz today which was lots of fun and have been busy doing different maths challenges: number plate challenge, maths eyes posters, dingbats and puzzles. We also did a maths trail today to answer some maths challenges using our school environment. Children worked great together and did a super job!
